Peacebuilders Conferences
Through the Office of Continuing Education, CTU offers daylong conferences for high school educators and youth ministers affiliated with the Peacebuilders Initiative. The purpose of these conferences is to:

• Deepen understanding of the aspirations of youth and issues of faith formation for high school youth.
• Enhance participant's knowledge of theological disciplines such as scripture, Catholic social teaching, ecclesiology, and sacramental theology.
• Offer educators and ministers practical resources which focus on peacebuilding and reconciliation to integrate into curriculum and/or youth activities.
• Provide a forum in which ideas, concerns, strategies, and resources are exchanged and shared.

Conferences are scheduled during "in-service" days allotted to Chicago Catholic high schools in order to attract and accommodate a larger number of youth ministers, campus ministers, and high school educators from various disciplines within our partnership network.
