September: Goal-setting for the New School Year

The new school year is a great new beginning: the start of a year when you will learn, grow, make new friends, try new things, and most of all, try to become a “better” you.

But how will you become this new you if you don’t even know what you’re aiming for? Or if you feel so alone and unworthy that it’s not even worth the effort? The year will be an uphill battle all the way.

Making the most of this new school year—as an individual, a youth group, a class—requires two things: a well-planned set of goals, and the wisdom and confidence that God is with you. No one has to face this journey alone. Break it down, piece by piece, into manageable steps, and face it with the strength of the Holy Spirit. Next thing you know, you’re becoming a stronger, healthier, holier you.

So get ready: the world awaits!
